1. About these terms

These terms govern your use of the ValidSync website at validsync.ai (the "Site"), operated by ValidSync LLC ("ValidSync", "we", "us"). By using the Site you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.

2. What the Site is

The Site describes ValidSync's contractor identity data and how to request a pilot. It does not give access to that data. Pilots, data deliveries and API access are provided only under a separate written agreement, and that agreement governs them.

3. Examples on the Site

Businesses, people, addresses, identifiers and records shown in examples, animations and sample screens on the Site are illustrative. Any resemblance to an actual business or person is coincidental.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to interfere with the Site's operation or security, attempt to gain unauthorized access to it, or use it for any unlawful purpose.

5. Intellectual property

The Site's content, design and code are owned by ValidSync LLC and protected by copyright and other laws. You are welcome to view the Site and share links to it; please do not copy or reuse its content or code without our written permission.

6. No warranties

The Site is provided "as is" and "as available". Descriptions of our data, coverage and methods are general information, may change without notice, and are not an offer or a guarantee of any result.

7. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, ValidSync is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages arising from your use of the Site.

8. Third-party services

Messages sent through the Site's request form are delivered by our email provider, Resend. Its own terms and privacy policy apply to the information it processes.

9. Changes

We may update these terms. The date at the top shows when they last changed, and continuing to use the Site after a change means you accept the updated terms.

1. What this covers

This policy explains what information ValidSync collects through the Site and through enquiries you send us, and how we handle the public-record information that makes up our data.

2. Information you give us

When you request a pilot through our form or email us, we receive what you choose to send, typically your name, work email, company and the details of your request.

3. Information collected automatically

The Site has no accounts, no analytics and no advertising trackers, and it does not set cookies. Our hosting provider, Vercel, processes standard request logs (IP address, browser type, the page requested and the time) to deliver the Site and protect it from abuse. The Site loads no third-party scripts or fonts.

4. How we use it

• To respond to your enquiry and run any pilot you request.
• To operate, secure and improve the Site.
• To comply with legal obligations.

We do not sell the information you give us, and we do not use it for advertising.

5. Who we share it with

The service providers that run the Site and our communications (Vercel for hosting, Resend for delivering form messages, and Google for email), and authorities when the law requires it.

6. Public-record data about contractors

ValidSync compiles information about contracting businesses and licensed individuals from government public records, such as license boards, Secretary-of-State filings, building permits and federal registers. This can include the names of people as they appear on those filings, for example a business's officers or license holders.

We use government sources only. We do not buy data from data brokers, and we do not collect reviews or information from private directories.

7. Corrections

If you believe a record about you or your business is wrong, email solomon@validsync.ai with the record and what is incorrect. We will check it against its source and correct or annotate our data where it does not match.

8. Retention

We keep enquiry emails and form submissions for as long as we need them to respond and for our business records. Hosting logs are kept according to our host's standard retention.

9. Your choices

You can ask us to access, correct or delete the information you have sent us by emailing solomon@validsync.ai. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under local law, and we will honor them as required.

10. Security

The Site is served only over HTTPS. We use reasonable measures to protect the information we hold, but no method of transmission or storage is completely secure.

11. Children

The Site is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.

12. Changes

We may update this policy. The date at the top shows when it last changed.
